I cut my teeth on Royal Doulton,  Wedgewood, and Crown Lyn! My love for all things Antique, Vintage and Retro began at an early age. In fact, it is in my blood. 

My parents at one point in time owned a Second Hand, Antique and Collectible shop in Glen Eden, Auckland in the early ’90s.

I was brought up rummaging through garage sales, sitting through auctions and sorting through rooms from Estate Sales.  My father used to buy me ‘mystery box lots’ cheaply from the antique auctions and I would spend hours picking through my treasures.

So, this is how it started, or actually, this is how it has always been for me.  The smell of an oiled antique Blonde Oak Dresser is more familiar to me than homemade biscuits. 

I have a deep-rooted LOVE for Vintage things.  They have history, substance and come from a time when things were made with purpose and were to be cared for and handed down and loved!

Truly Madly Vintage was conjured through a combination of my love of fashion and my love for Vintage.
